IKEA x ROG Collaboration
Review

On April 29, 2021, ASUS' gaming brand, ROG, and IKEA, a popular furniture brand from Sweden, launched their collaborative products.
The lineup consists of 25 products, and while gaming chairs and gaming desks tend to get most of the attention, there is also a very large selection of gaming peripheral accessories.

You can find more details in the newsroom of IKEA's official website, "Furniture that puts gaming first".

As mentioned in the above page, "To ensure the width of the total gaming offer and to meet the various needs of IKEA customers in terms of function, design and price. ".A wallet-friendly, stylish, and functional mouse pad.I' ve got to get one of these! So, I bought it without any hesitation.
Okay, let's open it up!

The outer box is quite simple. IKEA-like.

On the front, there' s the name of the product, an image photo, and the dimensions. It's 90cm wide, which is plenty big enough.

The words "Design By IKEA Sweden" are in the middle of the diagram showing the dimensions and the words LÅNESPELARE.

As expected from the world-famous IKEA.You can find information on materials in various languages. However, there is no information in Japanese or Traditional Chinese.

The official IKEA website, product page "LÅNESPELARE Game mouse pad" had detailed information in Japanese.
Material: natural rubber, 100% polyester (100% recycled material content). The product is not washable, not bleachable, not tumble dryable, not ironable, and not dry cleanable.

(By the way, I couldn't read most of the words on the box except for "Made in Taiwan". It's made in Taiwan!)

Well, let's open it up and lay it out!

分厚くないか!?
So thick!
Saiga NAK

It's thick!
I thought it would be big, but this thickness was a little unexpected when I took it out of the box.It looks very thick with the volume of the material. It' s as heavy as it is thick, plus the natural rubber lining keeps it in place.

Nice design

It's flashy big. Without any exaggeration, I can run my mouse almost anywhere on my desk.

It' s not only the thickness and size that is noteworthy, but also the design. Although I had the impression that gaming mouse pads were either plain with a logo or with a flashy pattern, this one does not look like either. The design is white on black, reminiscent of a futuristic building. The design is well-balanced and not too overpowering, perfectly embodying the image of ROG x IKEA. Wonderful and stylish.

Here's what it looks like when combined with the drink holder, neck pillow, multi-cushion, etc. from the LÅNESPELARE series.
Yup. Very cool. It's got a different appeal from other gaming products, right? And they're all affordable.

How does it feel?

It looks very soft. Let's run the mouse over it and see how it feels. The right hand on the ROG Keris Wireless. And the left hand to ROG Falchion.

It' s wonderfully smooth! The hardness is also quite exquisite, not too soft despite its thickness, but just perfect. In addition to that, it feels so soft and smooth to the touch. And the size of it makes it comfortable!

How much for this quality?

For such a high quality mouse pad, the price is 1,999 yen including tax.
Available from IKEA official website! Why don't you try to get one!
