California based gaming hardware company Razer has recently announced their newest mouse devices equipped with their proprietary Razer HyperSpeed wireless technology - the Basilisk Ultimate and the Basilisk X HyperSpeed.
Razer HyperSpeed
Razer HyperSpeed scans available frequencies every millisecond for any form of interference, and will instantly switch to the fastest one so the connection with the mouse doesn't lag. Because of Razer HyperSpeed, mice equipped with it are measured at 25% less latency compared to other wireless mice.
Razer Basilisk Ultimate
The Razer Basilisk Ultimate comes equipped with the same 20,000 DPI Focus+ Optical Sensor as the Razer Viper Ultimate, and on top of this state of the art sensor comes new features such as Smart Tracking, asymmetrical cutoff, and motion synchronization, improving tracking accuracy.
Optical Switch with Improved Reliability and Speed
Also inside the Razer Basilisk Ultimate is the Razer Optical Mouse Switch.
Because the Razer Optical Mouse Switch uses a beam of infrared light instead of physical contact to send a signal to the PC, the Razer Optical Mouse Switch allows for 3 times faster response times, and because of less physical moving parts, the Razer Optical Mouse Switch lasts longer.
Charging Dock
The Razer Mouse Dock makes charging the 100 hour battery of the mouse easy, but when you can't wait for that battery charge, just plug in the included Razer Speedflex Cable to charge the mouse while using it as a wired mouse.
Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed
The Razer Basilisk X Hyperspeed is equipped with the same 5G 16,000 DPI Optical Sensor as the Razer DeathAdder Elite, making sure players never have to sacrifice performance.
Razer HyperSpeed & Bluetooth
Not only included is Bluetooth, which gives around 450 hours of play time, but Razer HyperSpeed also comes with the mouse. The Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed also can stand as much as 50 million clicks.
Price and Release
Prices per device vary, with the Razer Basilisk Ultimate and Razer Mouse Dock set will go for $169.99, while separately they will go for $149.99 and $49.99, respectively. The Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed is priced at $59.99.
