Dragon Quest III Event " (hereafter referred to as "DQIII Event") has been underway since March 30, 2020, at the "Dragon Quest Walk."
It is a fun event with many things to do besides the storyline, with powerful monsters in the taverns and merchant towns of Rueda, but unfortunately, due to the spread of the new coronavirus, we are not able to go out as much as we would like, making it difficult to enjoy playing the event.
We have already made some adjustments to the event, such as expanding the tapping area of the event spots and adjusting the powerful monsters so that you can enjoy the event even if you don't go out much.
And now that the second chapter of the "DQIII Event" has started, here is a summary of the updates!

If you have played DQIII, you know what you can do with the orbs, right?
Along with the start of Chapter 2, a new request has been added to the request board at "Rueda's Bar"!
Let's get items and raise the bond level of Rueda by accomplishing the requests!
Along with the new requests, the upper limit of Luida's bond level has also been released, so those who have maxed out their bond level can continue to enjoy the game.
The event will run from Monday, April 6, 2020 to Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at 14:59!
The "Yamata-no-Orochi" monster is coming!
The " Yamata no Orochi" will appear as a powerful monster in Chapter 2.
The "Yagata no Orochi" will appear in the field after clearing the 5th episode of Chapter 2 of the event quest.
You can switch between the two monsters in the field from Rueda's tavern, so choose the one you want to fight!
You can earn the title of "Yamata no Orochi" and other gorgeous items by defeating monsters for the first time or by total P. So, keep on challenging them!
The "Yamata no Orochi" will be available from Monday, April 6, 2020 to Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at 14:59!
Adjustment of some contents
In conjunction with the distribution of the second chapter of the "DQIII Event," some content adjustments have been made.
Adjustment of "Destinations Anywhere
The " Destination Anywhere " function has been adjusted to allow you to set an objective anywhere, even outside of a spot, by using the "Wings of Guidance" once a day when setting an objective for a quest.
Normally, destinations cannot be set within a certain distance from the current location, but now destinations can be set in the vicinity of the current location.
In conjunction with this adjustment, monsters that appear frequently in the vicinity of destinations will be temporarily removed.
A new mission has been added in which you can obtain five "wings of guidance," which are necessary for "Destinations Anywhere," and one "Wings of Guidance" will be distributed every day until April 26, so that you can proceed with the quest from home. I'm glad to hear that.
Features that will be adjusted sequentially from April 7
The following contents will be adjusted sequentially from April 7, 2020 (Tuesday).
Adjustment of Mega Monster Battle
The appearance of Mega Monsters will be temporarily suspended.
The Mega Monsters currently appearing and Mega Monsters scheduled to be added in the "DQIII Event" will be included in this adjustment.
Adjustment of merchant towns
The "Merchant Town" event spots that appear in the field will have their tapping area further expanded.
The tapable area has already been expanded to include places that can be tapped from a short distance away, but it is likely that more towns will become accessible even when you are at home.
We will wait for further information on how the level up of the town will be handled.
As for the timing of implementation, it is still under adjustment.
Extension of ongoing adjustments
The following adjustments currently being implemented have been extended until Sunday, April 26, 2020.
- The "Slamming in Sramichi" will be increased to twice a day (three times a day for Gold Pass holders).
- Waiting time for "Rest at Home" reduced to 30 minutes per visit (15 minutes per visit for Gold Pass holders).
- 5 "Nioi-bukuro" bags distributed on weekdays and 10 on weekends
The company will consider extending the time depending on the situation.

Up until now, it has been necessary to travel a certain distance to complete quests, making it impossible to play the game while at home.
