YUBIWAZA is an e-sports program that airs on Mainichi Broadcasting System (MBS) every Thursday at 1:59 am.

As the program name suggests, it stars the owners of YUBIWAZA (finger technique), and the MCs are Jun Tamura (London Boots No. 1 and No. 2) and Mari Yaguchi.

This tournament was the second event held by YUBIWAZA, and was held to determine the best of the gamers, called amateurs without professional licenses, with a prize money of 1 million yen for each title.

Takoyaki Doraku Wanaka" stood out from the crowd.

The event was held on October 25, 26, and 27, and two photographers and writers from Fangler Games were able to cover the event for two days, on October 26 and 27.

The YUBIWAZA CUP was sponsored by a variety of companies and attracted a great deal of attention, but the most prominent among them was "Takoyaki Doraku Wanaka".

"Why is Takoyaki sponsoring e-sports?" The crowd seemed to be drawn in by the takoyaki being grilled without a break in front of the venue.
We also had a chance to try the takoyaki on our way to the event, and we were very impressed with the freshly baked, hot, and delicious takoyaki.

Other notable sponsors included Hiroaki Morishima, president of Cerezo Osaka, and Yoichiro Kakitani, a player from Cerezo Osaka, who made a guest appearance at the event, and a stall of "Yakiniku Tamura.

The venue is only a five-minute walk from Osaka Umeda Station, and in addition to the e-sports tournament, "acosta!" hosted by "Hakosta," which is involved in various cosplay-related events, was also held at the same time.

This was the first cosplay event to be held in the city of Umeda, and like the e-sports tournament, it was a very exciting event that made the area around Umeda Chayamachi more like a festival than a venue.

Fangler Games staff members were on hand to cover the event from early morning before the tournament until the event was cleared out at night, and we were greatly impressed by the work of the staff members.

I was deeply moved by the fact that the players and moderators had been using this table until a few minutes ago.

The entrance to the venue is quieter than it was in the early morning, but the YUBIWAZA CUP venue still has a strong presence even after the tournament is over at midnight.

Famous players also participated in the YUBIWAZA CUP

The YUBIWAZA CUP attracted famous professional e-sports gamers, people from various game companies, and a lot of press, making it a very exciting event.

Dogura, who was told by various people at the time of the interview that he looked like many of the other players, we actually had the opportunity to meet and take a picture of him.

Dogura players appeared not only in YUBIWAZA CUP but also in the TV program YUBIWAZA.

It is a unique feature of YUBIWAZA that famous athletes appear on the TV program and also in events and competitions.

Expect more YUBIWAZA in the future!

This is a summary of the YUBIWAZA CUP.
Fangler Games will continue to support and cover YUBIWAZA.
We hope you will continue to support YUBIWAZA and look forward to seeing what the future holds for YUBIWAZA.
