In Japan, the "VALORANT FIRST STRIKE JAPAN Powered by RAGE " will be open for teams from Friday, October 30, 2020 to Thursday, November 5, 2020 at 11:59pm.
First Official Regional Tournament "FIRST STRIKE
FIRST STRIKE" is a regional tournament to determine champions from North America, Europe, Asia, Brazil, Latin America, and other regions of the world!
Each region will hold qualifiers and finals, and each winning team will be awarded the title of VALORANT Regional Champion for the first time in official competition.
In Japan, the tournament will be held in an open format, and both professional and amateur teams are invited to participate.

This tournament was released in June 2020 with the release of VALORANT, and less than six months later, the tournament has already become a global event.
Riot Games has a track record of holding many large-scale world championships in LoL, so perhaps the day will soon come when an official tournament to determine the world's best player will be held in VALORANT...?
