SNK World Championship Delayed Due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) Concerns
News

SNK has announced that they will postpone their SNK World Championship JAPAN TOUR FINAL and their SNK World Championship GRAND FINAL due to rising cases of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).

The tournaments were set to take place on February 29th and March 1st, and March 28th and 29th, respectively.

New dates to be announced later

The two final competitions were set to pit the best SAMURAI SHODOWN and THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIV players in the world against each other, but because it looks as though cases of Coronavirus infections in Japan are increasing, SNK decided to postpone the competition for the safety of everyone involved. Those coming from abroad and those from Japan alike.

After the situation around Coronavirus improves, SNK plans to release new dates for the tournaments.
