The new Season Pass 3 was released in 2021, announcing the entry of popular character " Cham Cham " and " Hibiki Takamine " from "Gekka no Kenji".
In addition, a surprise announcement was made at the "2nd Japan Gaming Manufacturers Association" on Sunday, February 21, 2021, that the fourth character in Season Pass 3 will be from Arc System Works' "GUILTY GEAR" series. On Tuesday, March 16, 2021, "SAMURAI SPIRITS" has been updated to Ver. 2.10, and Season 3 has begun!
In this update, the new "Guard Crush" system was implemented.

Guard Crush" is a new system that allows players to accumulate Guard Cr ush values by having their opponents guard against normal attacks and special moves.
As the Guard Crush value accumulates, the character glows red, indicating that the character is ready to Guard Crush.
Guard Crush is triggered by hitting the opponent with a "Tateyoku Zanri ".
The fact that the only attack that can be triggered is the "Tateyoku Zanri," which is a large swing with a large gap, also makes the game fun to play!
Incidentally, guard crashes are not reduced when guarding an opponent's attack with " Discernment ", and guard crashes can be prevented when "Discernment" is performed while the attack is glowing red. I think the key is to use "discernment" well.
