On May 25, 2023 JST, an hour-long PlayStation Showcase featured the very latest news on a number of titles.
At the PlayStation Showcase, Konami Digital Entertainment Limited. (KONAMI) announced that METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER from the METAL GEAR series is currently in production.
METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER Trailer Revealed!
Konami announced that METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER is in production and released an announcement trailer at the same time.
METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER will be a faithful remake of METAL GEAR SOLID 3 SNAKE EATER originally released in 2004 for the PlayStation2 in 2004. The remake will star the original voice characters, rich storyline and expansive features of combat survival in harsh environments evolved with unprecedented graphics and immersive sound.
The 2-minute announcement trailer shows Snake hiding in the jungle.
They are currently working hard to evolve METAL GEAR SOLID 3 SNAKE EATER, a masterpiece of the METAL GEAR series, into the latest modern graphics and release it as METAL GEAR SOLID Δ(delta): SNAKE EATER.
PlayStation5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam will be the supported platforms, and the release date will follow at a later date.

METAL GEAR SOLID: MASTER COLLECTION Vol. 1 Will Release In Autumn 2023!
The first METAL GEAR debuted in 1987, marking the 35th anniversary of the series in 2022, and now a collection that will serve as the culmination of the series to date will go on sale.
METAL GEAR SOLID: MASTER COLLECTION Vol. 1 is the first collection work, featuring METAL GEAR SOLID, METAL GEAR SOLID 2 SONS OF LIBERTY (HD Collection version) and METAL GEAR SOLID 3 SNAKE EATER (HD Collection version).
The launch is expected to be in the autumn of 2023.
