Akita Oga Mystery Guide: Frozen Silver Suzuka " is an adventure game set in Akita Prefecture, including the Oga Peninsula and surrounding areas.
The Oga Peninsula is the protrusion on the left when you look at Akita Prefecture on a map.
For those who are not from the Tohoku region, it may not be obvious what is there, but you can think of it as the place where the famous " Namahage " (Japanese monster) appears.
Incidentally, "Namahage" are often treated as monsters or demons, but make no mistake, they are messengers of the gods!

The game system is a NES-style command-selection type travel adventure in the vein of "Ise-Shima Mystery Guide: The False Black Pearl".
