Puyo Puyo during summer vacation! KISUKE PRESENTS Esports Tournament "The First Kiske Puyo Puyo King Final Match" in Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture

Kisuke Corporation, which has held e-sports tournaments for Power Pro in May, Bomberman in June, and Tekken 7 in July, will hold the 4th ISUKE PRESENTS e-sports tournament "The First Kisuke Puyopuyo King Championship" on Sunday, August 18, 2019.

The tournament title is "Puyopuyo eSports.

Puyopuyo" is a falling object puzzle game whose first title was released by Compile Inc. in 1991.
The game is played by matching four "puyos" of the same color, and the first player to fill the top of the screen loses the game.
Despite the simplicity of the rules, the game offers a variety of options, such as "Chain," in which when a Puyo is erased, the Puyos on top of it fall down and are erased by aligning four of them, and "Total Erase," in which all the Puyos on the screen are erased. The exhilaration of playing the game and its high level of strategy is one of the game's appeals.
The latest title in the series is "Puyo Puyo eSports," which is currently marketed by SEGA and not by Compile Inc. and specializes in local and network battles for eSports.
The latest version of "Puyo Puyo eSports" for PS4 will be used.
