The first official Granblue Fantasy Versus tournament, "RAGE GBVS 2020 Summer powered by AQUOS," will be held at the "RAGE 2020 Summer powered by AQUOS" e-sports event, and in consideration of the spread of the new coronavirus, the qualifiers will be held online " The qualifying rounds will be held online " ;all games will be broadcasted without spectators; and the recruitment of players residing outside of Japan will be suspended.

The maximum number of participants is 1,024. The prize money for the winner will be 3 million yen, and the total prize money will be 5 million yen.
Competition entry will begin at 11:00 on Thursday, May 7, 2020 and end at 23:59 on Wednesday, May 20, 2020, with the winner announced on Friday, May 22, 2020.
Up to 1,024 players will be selected by lottery to participate in the online qualifiers to be held on Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31, 2020, and the top 24 players will advance to the SEMI FINALS to be held on Saturday, June 6, 2020, at a studio in Tokyo, Japan.
The top eight winners of the SEMI FINALS will advance to the GRAND FINALS scheduled to be held on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at a studio in Tokyo.
In the SEMI FINALS to be held on Saturday, June 6, 2020, the winner of "R-1 Guranpuri 2020," a well-known fighting game enthusiast, and the creator of " Kumiteko-gassen " released on the App Store and Google Play Store, will participate.
