GT Sport Porsche Esports Racing Japan Season 1 Announced by Porsche Japan

Porsche Japan, subsidiary of Porsche AG, is set to hold a third Porsche One-Make Race Series on top of their existing "Porche Carrera Cup Japan", and their "Porche Sprint Challenge Japan", called "Porsche Esports Racing Japan Season 1". The event will be held in the popular racing series developed by Polyphony Digital and released by Sony Interactive Entertainment, "Gran Turismo Sport".

Online Preliminaries

The Porche Esports Racing Japan Season 1 will consist of preliminary races held online on March 28th, May 5th, and May 26th.
The ten players with the highest amount of points will move on to the finals.

Finals: Porsche Sportscar Together Day 2019

The ten preliminary finalists will go on to compete at the Porsche Sportscar Together Day 2019 on June 15th at Fuji Speedway in Sizuoka Prefecture.
At the enf of the season, the winning players will be commended at the Porche Night of Champions Japan, a Porsche Motor Sports Festival that will bring together divers and teams who took part in the 2019 season.

Rules and Regulations

The event is restricted to those ofthe age of 18 or older. Circuit and machines used durng the competition are specified by cometition rules.

Round System Race (Ranking decided by points)
Winners will be announced via Facebook.
Final Race The final race will take place between the top ten players from the first three matches.

The winner will be invited to and commendated at Night of Champions Japan 2019.

Second Match: Fuji Speedway
Third Match: Suzuka Circuit
Cars First Match: Cayman GT4 Clubsport Gr.5
Second Match: 911 RSR (991) Gr.4
Third Match: 911 GT3 RS (991) N500
Participation Rules Must be 18 years or older
Entry Method: (for the first match) After updating your game, the entry flyer will be shown in the Sports Mode area of the game.
It's not possible to enter the competition through this alone, but it is possible to play the circuit.
On the day of the first match, April 28th, competition entry is scheduled to take place 15 minutes before the start of the match. You will beable to enter the competition through Gran Turismo SPORT's Sports Mode.
8:00pm JST - Competiton Start、9:00pm JST - Competition Finish.
