After negotiations with 18 players selected in the Draft Conference and 14 contract renewals, the companies have completed the signing of all 4 contracts with players from each company, and announced the birth of 32 professional players on June 1, 2022 (Wednesday)!
In conjunction with this announcement, it was also announced that the BEMANI PRO LEAGUE -SEASON 2- beatmania IIDX regular season opener will be held!
What is the BEMANI PRO LEAGUE?
BEMANI PRO The BEMANI PRO LEAGUE (hereafter referred to as "BPL") is a professional league organized by KONAMI and launched in 2021 as a new type of entertainment that combines " esports and music".
This year, the second season of the BPL, will be held for three machines: " DanceDanceRevolution" and " SOUND VOLTEX" in addition to " beatmania IIDX," which was held last season.
Beamani","DanRevolution" and "DDR" in particular are titles that anyone who has ever been to an arcade has heard of at least once!
To the untrained eye, they look like completely different games, but I wonder if the professional players of these "sound games" will be able to show us how to play them like gods. I am very much looking forward to it.
A final tournament system has been introduced! The season opener is June 29th!
Final Tournament The BPL, which has eight participating companies this year, has introduced a final tournament system.
In the regular stage, the 8 participating companies will play 28 matches in a round-robin tournament, with the top 2 teams earning the right to be seeded into the semi-finals.
In the quarterfinals, the bottom four teams of the six teams that won the regular stage will play one tournament match each, with the winners advancing to the semifinals.
In the semi-finals, the top two teams from the regular stage and the winners of the quarter-finals will face off, and the two winning teams will play in the finals!
